funded and backed by the Home Office
This project has arisen following the identification of a significant problem regarding acquisitive crime in the Central St Leonards area. Following a successful grant application from the Sussex Police Crime Commissioner to the Home Office there is now £476,000 allocated to preventative measures that will reduce local crime rates.

Police analysis of crime statistics ove the past three years has identified the proecise parts of central St Leonards where our work can have the greatest impact. This map shows the boundaries of our ability to fund improvements – although with Home Office agreement there may be some exceptions.
