Walking St Leonards – September 2020

The implementation team (Council, Police, Business Crime Reduction Partnership, Neighbourhood Watch, local councilors, Heart of Hastings, and residents) walked the area covered by Safer St Leonards over a day and a night in September 2020 and identified a number of areas in need of attention – all of these sites will be reviewed fully and if possible we will bring them up to a better standard.

This will involve:

• Getting street lights repaired
• Tidying up empty or derelict sites
• Repainting unloved shopfronts
• Fixing broken windows
• Putting in new lights where required
